WAVES OF GRIEF
WAVES OF GRIEF
Grief is incessant and unpredictable. It can strike at any moment and come up when we least expect. It is hard work and exhausts every bit of strength we may have.
Our emotional upsets are initiated by a host of seemingly endless triggers.
Acknowledging, allowing and releasing these feelings eventually liberates us from unbearable burden and sorrow.
Everyone is unique and handles grief in different ways. The bereaved shall be treated gently, carefully and tenderly as programs are designed from and based on each individual’s experience and circumstances.
Discovering insight, contentment and peace through one’s own direct experience and innate wisdom.
Learn to transform grief into relief, sadness into gladness and sorrow into joy.
We offer conscious and compassionate attention and care for those suffering from the effects of sudden loss and death of family members.
Our services include counseling, life transition planning and the conducting of conscious ritual and ceremony for our departed loved ones co-created by you based on your belief systems.
We have a nondenominational approach respecting each and everyone’s choice of how one lives, chooses to die and approaches spirituality.
We offer practical support, counseling and guidance for individuals by appointment in person, telephone, or Skype sessions. Please review our program offerings to find a creative release & relief support group in your area. You will also find the opportunities for grief retreats in Bali, Nepal, USA & Mexico.
Joy Traxler has designed this unique approach for healing and transforming grief based on her own personal life experience. Her daughter died suddenly in a tragic accident at the age of 5 and only three years later her husband dropped dead from a heart attack. She went on to obtain her grief and loss counseling certification as part of the process and resolution of her own healing and in that context was able to teach other counselors. She has worked with parents who have lost children to a host of circumstances including accidents, overdose, suicide and murder. She also counsels those grieving the loss of their spouses to unforeseen death and divorce.
